with the positive resolve of the leadership, they can because they have the resources wipe out this plague.
These places will have to be evacuated of civillians, and again, Gas the rebels, and when its done. There has to be stern leadership which will immediately execute any cleric which comes with some radical talk. IF there is any fringe groups that come talking any level of radicalization, then evacuate those radical to a select area and simply gas them and be done with it. No prison, not detainment, simply eradicate them and be done with it.
Then these nations can rebuild and if they say Islam is about peace, then only peace loving people will be left to return and rebuild.

Eventually its going to come to that, because no one has time to waste time on the Killer Gangs playing murder someone on a daily basis. Anyone who even remotely speaks of some jihad and other crazy stuff will be immediately dispensed with 'permanently".

how does one stop the killing and fighting in this area where there has been conflict for thousands of years ,,

maybe you do not have to like your neighbor ,,,,, just be sociable
