Too many people watched the video of the pandemic hitting China and did not think it would go to other places. I followed in as much as the media presented in China. When Trump claims China should have said something sooner, it means he was not paying attention to the news... "Guess Fox Media" did not show that! He wasted time calling it a hoax and denying it by every means he could. Now all he is concerned about is the "Stock Market" The stock market is not the economy... People Are The Economy" .. this will have an impact to make people think of "respecting people" more than money. The stock market is still trading, which is insidious, when many factories are not even operating, which should tell the people.. Its no longer about "investing", its people playing "Trading Frenzy Like a Casino Game based on nothing but "Speculative Gambling'. If America was a Leader, it would "Freeze the Markets, and every other nation would follow suit if he had the diplomatic integrity and intelligence to do so. (People forget, the world does not stop because of the market close on weekends) and it won't stop if the market closes for 2 or three or so months. I don't pay my bills by playing stocks - work!!! The stocks I have, I INVESTED, for the long term, (I believe in the original premise the stock market was designed for: Which was _ Long Term Investors to invest in the Stability, Research and MANAGED Growth of Companies. It was not designed to "break records every day, or every quarter, it was to gain stable profits by stable companies over the long term. in the past 4 decades, all it's done is "crash companies" by the acquisition game of destroying competition and doing so by amassing massive debt and over expanding and overstocking as a pretense of performance; and then Liquidate it for nickels and dimes, which is why we have so many "dollar stores", they grew from the glut of overstock that was liquidated to secondary sellers.... who created "a long list of different types of dollar stores. People are getting sick and dying and they are worried about a Stock Market, when it has exposed that America can't even produce enough of what is necessary. America NEVER could have built a hospital in 10 days, as China did, and China mass-produced the equipment to make that hospital function. Chinese doctors and researchers knew how to collect data and how to pursue combatting the pandemic virus, and they are still advancing in what they know and what they develop. Americas has a FOOL such as Trump On TV Talking about the Economy... China did not allow that stupidity. They focused on and still focus on how to stop the spread. Other countries will continue to take their lead from China and other Asian Places that are making progress. They see the buffon mess that Trump makes every time he gets up, and under-cut the medical professionals, and then some stupid comment about "Opening Business by Easter".... He's too DUMB, to know its not his decision it will be up to the Governors, and then it becomes up to the people, as to whether they want to accept a risk if this thing is not contained.

only medical staffs working in hospital need all protective equipments, we don't need masks unless we are ill and caring for someone ill. Please don't stock up all essential that all medical staffs are needed. .

Yesterday out walking around the always empty streets the sun was glorious; now is cooler as autumn deepens. Like you I had to drop my travel plans, which had included visiting my Wuhan student and family again. laogui.
