It is an interesting subject you brought up, with over 2 million members here you would think there would be members in the chat room or on IM.
Often times there is no one on IM and it does not matter about the time difference, there is just no one there !
Makes me start to wonder,,,,,,,,,,,

I've been on IM a few times mmlooking and that gets people a bit frustrated, as for the chat rooms, I met some nice people there what encourages me to continue going. Thanks for the info, comments!

 thanks papaya. For sure it's a good means to know one another before giving private information. I enjoy chatting with people that have english as first language or are fluent, always can learn through that contact.
