Hong Kong 'student' protesters - our rights our freedom of speech!

We are free to assemble and march en masse when we have permission
We are free to assemble and march en masse when we don't have permission
We are free to protect criminals taking refuge in Hong Kong
We are free to block traffic and transport and business because we are young protesters
We are free to make unattainable demands because we know they will be refused
We are free to deface and vandalise because the government refuses our demands
We are free to discuss nothing because we speak the truth, the only truth
We are free to destroy the economy of Hong Kong
We are free to destroy the livelihoods of Hong Kongers
We are free to block trains and planes and travellers so they know we are wronged
We are free to carry weapons throw bricks and Molotov cocktails because police impede us
We are free to hate and ab_use the brutal police and their families
We are free to attack and beat and bully anyone wh0 disagrees with us
We are free to entrap and attack police wh0 attend emergency calls
We are free to lie freely because it suits us to do so
We are free to fly the Stars'n'stripes and call on dashu Donald for support!
We are free to hide behind masks when committing crimes and don't you dare take them away!

Did I leave anything 0ut?
Feel free to tell me if I did!

@chinese4me well of course their fondest hope is precisely to compel China to intervene with troops, thus taking it to a whole new level. This has always been a main goal of the strategy.

It's similar tactic creating Tiananmen Square from the America to China, starting with the passion from all innocent students thinking they are doing great things to change what they called 'dictatorship' to "Democracy". Students are being used to this sort of "revolution". Yes it's not only happening in Hong Kong. Name a few, Yellow vest protest in Paris. Most recent protest in Turkey and Syrian. The world is on Fire and mess. Perhaps that's the way to "Make America Great again".

Lily yes indeed unrest everywhere. People elect DT and choose BJ in the UK, Bolsonaro in Brazil, Duterte in PI, strange times. I don't go so far as to claim America interferes in Hong Kong, but I can see and say that the western press strongly supports the protest activity in HK, that there is a growing tide of Sinophobia in the West, particularly here in Australia.

Moreover, they ask for "independence" that is strongly supported by Taiwan Independence group so Tsai Ing-wen is not alone to against China government opinion about Taiwan is part of China and one day Taiwan should get back to China implementing the similar "one country two system". Several Taiwanese was arrested during unlawful protest too. All these rioters attempt to upset Hk government and testing the limit of China government, they wish to see China army and tanks on the street so they claim it's the repeat of 'Tiananmen Square" so they can call for the support of Independence from international counties.

@lily I did follow up the colour revolution reference, thanks. This particular colour revolution will surely peter out but perhaps some minor concessions will be silently made. One just hopes China holds fast and resists military intervention. There are many agencies poking this particular ant's nest.

Hong Kong will never be the same again, Economy there will slow down gradually hence some businesses and money are moving to Singapore. It's complicated situation there. Haven't say that, Hong Kong and China are totally different scenario than Ukraine. Chinese people are reunited because of this event in Hong Kong and soon this episode will be ended.

Yes Lily I agree - the heyday of Hong Kong has come and gone. This is the consequence unforeseen by the 'movement'. The government will surely have some change of thinking, but who can tell in which direction that will lead them. Hopefully not in the direction of harsher control.
Penny Wong in Australia today will give a PressClub speech on Australia and its relationship with China. Worth listening to, I think

look up Robert Ovada - Aussie journalist from Seven, he can tell you the truth about in Hong Kong.

That's the beginning of his article online -

"I have never seen disinformation weaponised with such venom as my time in Hong Kong.
We see in social media, right around the world, people’s refusal to acknowledge basic fact if it doesn’t confirm their entrenched political bias. In Hong Kong right now, this is toxic and dangerous.
Well known Hong Kong actress, Celine Ma, protested the protesters. She had no less right to protest than they did, but because of it a solitary woman surrounded by an angry mob (championing “freedom” and “democracy”) was sprayed in the face, punched, shoved to the ground and had a glass bottle smashed over her head. This is fact and unambiguous.
Organisations like Apple Daily, which has specific links to the “pro-democracy” protesters, deliberately edit videos out of context to alter their audience’s impression of what happened, to make it seem like she attacked protesters first. A brief description of this is “propaganda“. Apple Daily starts its sequence with Ms Ma defending herself, making her look like the aggressor and that became the narrative for so many."

Hong Kong is not safe anymore and all these rioters are destroying their future too. I would say rioters are not only Students as your title claimed. They are terrorists.

@lily that's why 'students' is in quotation marks - the press used to use the label 'student protests'
