Benefit 12 Hour Concert to help our homeless veterans This is our 2nd annual concert with various bands, foods, vendors, auction and raffle prizes, dancing on the best dancing floor in the nation. The American Legion Tulsa Post 1, is the oldest fully functional Legion Post in the nation. We will also looking for new bands and performers for next year's event, and vendors also. We also hope to get many new members to our Post, especially those of color. I became the 1st black female Commander of any American Legion Post in the state of Oklahoma, and I would like to more veterans of all ethnicity joining our proud heritage; we will be turning 100 next year on March 17th 2019. So, if you happen to be around, the Tulsa, Oklahoma area on November 17th, 2018, come on by, have a drink with me ( although mine will be non- alcoholic) or share a dance with me and help us - help our veterans.
