I like the comic book idea but I think someone beat me to the punch many years ago. Many I'll write a how-to book, "Dating While Invisible"

Yes, I am slowly becoming visible. But I can't seem to control this super power. It comes and goes on its own.

Age is definitely a big factor. The population from which to find a partner is significantly diminished as a result. But trust has never been an issue because I'm willing to the invest the time necessary to truly know someone before the relationship escalates to the next level. And I welcome change in my life in order to break up any monotony that may have established itself in my life and to have a relationship that will stretch me beyond my previous limits to become a better friend, lover, partner and person.

As for marriage and those of us that are older and have financial assets, 2 words: Prenuptial Agreement!! It's not sexy but it sure is pragmatic.

The aspect of Invisible Man Syndrome that drives me crazy here is when a woman tags me in her hot list. Almost every time, I write to say hello and never get a reply. Why bother to hot list someone if you don't mean to get their attention?

Online dating is a strange animal and is predictably unpredictable. It is both a blessing and a curse. On the one hand, it provides a forum that is easy to discover and converse with people. On the other hand, it is often difficult to get to the point of meeting someone in person because, in my opinion, people are easily distracted with the many options that they have on a dating site and quickly lose interest. It's like channel surfing on your television where you want to see what else is on.
