 The days of the Chat room are long long gone. 23 years ago they were pretty hectic, but frequented by destructive and disruptive elements. 12 years ago they started fading, fading, fading... as FriendFinder went deeper and deeper into debt.

I miss the good old days... back in the day(10 years ago... and some), I could come to the chats 24/7 when I was feeling lonely and there was always someone to talk to; exchange jokes, banter, or talk about just anything . Not anymore - apps have taken over and well, the FF consortium has failed to keep up with the times. No more chats that held some mystery of who or "what" you were talking to These days it is T8nder, wh*tsAp*, on-LINE, and wot not...

 there is a chat and forum site for over50's called buzz50.com - one or two of the old members here used to frequent it, but not now I think. Tuyet (Vietnam/Canadian) used to be there, and I belonged for a year or so but got rather bored and withdrew. I just drop by here every few months and try to keep the blog alive, as does Chatillion

Good info and Thank you for sharing. I was originally on The Korean Friend Finder and that got shut down or I guess you can say they merged that to this AFF, and that is why I am here. Not sure where the issue of chats dying down came to be... people just not interested anymore because of easier-to-use social media IG, Tinder, FB, etc..., language differences maybe, and what-not. It would be nice to see the good 'ole days but no one is just coming by anymore. I hang out at the Lobby in my easy hours, maybe those in the mood can swing by and drop a line or two
