My rambling thoughts for today

I've noticed when trying to strike up a friendship online it gets one sided in hurry and I wonder if it just me. I always try to find something in their profiles and ask questions about it and when I stop asking question the conversation is over. Rarely do they ask me anything other than "how was your day" or something like that. I am wanting to learn all about the beautiful woman I'm corresponding is all the questions to see if we are a good match and move the relationship forward. Is what I'm asking over whelming her? Does she not want to know about me? I'm a open book and will always answer the question honestly and as straight forward as I can. Maybe she not interested in me and I should just keep looking. Hope this blog posting doesn't scare off the love that I'm looking for

Have a great day everyone and remember this

Tips on a good profile photo

I've been into photography for over 35 years and I'm amazed at what people post to try to attract others for potential love interest. I understand that people post what they got but in my opinion if they are really serious then they can take a little extra time to post a good photo of them self. Here are my tips hope they help

1. Make sure your profile picture has only you in the picture. After all, you are promoting yourself not your siblings, or grandma on a summer vacation in Guangxi, Guilin. The picture should be from the top of your head to just above your waist.

2. Your profile picture should relate to your personality. Wear the clothes in your picture that you would wear on your first date.

3. Have your picture reflect your true personality on a good day. You don’t want to look wacky and crazy with a cute funny face. You don’t want to be staring off to the left or right, showing off your left or right profile. You want to look straight ahead, eyes bright with pleasant smile and be you.

4. Don’t forget to smile. It doesn’t have to be a big smile, but a nice warm and friendly smile. Remember to sit up tall and relaxed. The person taking the picture, hopefully a professional or someone who really knows what he’s doing, should be able to guide you and let you know if you need to roll your shoulders back and offer a more sincere smile.

5. Have at least three to four pictures taken, so you can pick out the best one for the profile picture. You can even show them to your most trusted friends or family members. Watch their reactions for each picture you show them. Once you have the picture that is the best one, then upload it as your profile picture.

6. Make only minor corrections with software, don’t over correct the photo. You want to look like the photo when you meet your possible love. You need to look like yourself in the photo.

7. Keep your photo current. The people looking at your photo want to know what you look like now not 10 years ago. It is a major let down when you get face to face and l don’t match recent photos.

As the old saying goes “Make a good first impression.” So, start it off right with a successful profile picture.

Well it that time to get the weekend started. What do you want to do? Me I live for the weekends and vacation time. Most weekends I've already planned out the Monday before. But I leave some weekend to be totally spontaneous and that's this weekend. My favorite American football team is in the playoffs so I may watch the game. So that burns about 3 hours. Currently the clouds are parting so it time to break out the telescope tonight and look up at the stars and make some wishes and think about that special woman that I'll find here. Saturday, might go snowshoeing or maybe head to the waterfront and do some photography So much to do and so little time.

Have a great weekend and get out and do something fun.
