Even now I find it difficult to fathom how you can give so much of yourself to a person and have them so totally wipe it all away as if it never happened with no remorse and go on their merry way leaving a path of destruction behind them...

Language Barriers...

In this world where we speak different languages, act differently, think differently... there's always a bigger chance to be misunderstood... Have you felt so frustrated because of how simple things get so overly complicated because you have been misunderstood? This language and culture barrier thing is quite a headache sometimes... But for the hopeless romantics, these things don't seem to be as hard anymore when you are in love... Love conquers all, as they say... Ewwwww.... whatever hehehe...
I'd like to share this lyrics of a song. I love it as it is, so I'm sharing it as it is, in my language, coz it might not convey the same sincerity and depth anymore if i translate it... For now, I dont like to try too hard to be understood...
This is the song...
Sana

Crazy Life...

As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn’t supposed to ever let us down probably will. We will have our heart broken probably more than once and it’s harder every time. We will break hearts too, so let us remember how it felt when ours was broken. We will fight with our best friend. We will blame a new love for things an old one did. We will cry because time is passing too fast, and we will eventually lose someone we love. So let us take too many pictures, laugh too much, and love like we've never been hurt because every sixty seconds we spend upset is a minute of happiness we'll never get back.
Don’t be afraid that life will end, be afraid that it will never begin.

it's been a long time... writing something here seems to be such a hard thing to do now because of work and a little business that i started late last year and some other reasons that are not worth mentioning anymore. but i never failed to visit here to get updates from the few people that i know here.
well, today, i just realized that i have been single for 2 years now, and i couldn't help but write something about it... the 2 years being single was hard raising a on my own... and facing life all alone... but i did a lot of growing up and learning... there were sad moments during the first months but later on each day was always filled with beautiful moments with my around. she'll be three this june, by the way.. wow, how fast time flies... soon, she will be in school, gain friends, and mom will be left alone on her own again... sigh...
honestly, i don't mind being single. it's nice to be free. i can stay out late every time i want to. i can wear whatever i want. i can be just whatever i want to be...
but to tell you the truth i wouldn't mind having someone to take over the driver's seat and the head of the table... i wouldn't mind having someone to share bed with, cook for each day, talk with, fight with, laugh and cry with... i wouldn't mind wanting to look good or trying to be better for someone. i wouldn't mind letting someone hold me when i'm at my weakest.
it's nice to be free.
but i wouldn't mind being bound to someone who loves me...

“ At this moment there are six billion, six hundred seventy million, eight hundred eighteen thousand, six hundred seventy one people in the world. Some are running, some are coming home, some tell lies to make it through the day, others are just now facing the thruth, some are evil at war with good, and some are good struggling with evil. Six billion people in the world, six billion souls, and sometimes, all you need is one. ”

Personality Disorders

I have always been interested in the field of psychology, particularly to the studies about the personality disorders. It somehow helps me to understand why some people behave the way they do. It's hard to be with people with this kind of disorder. One has to be more patient and compassionate or else they will end up with some kind of disorder too. My interest in this subject started years ago when i was still with a person with a narcissistic personality disorder. It was a life that you can never imagine. But thank god i came out of the experience stronger and my self-esteem still intact. But somehow the experience left a scar inside me that will forever remind me to be cautious about certain things. My heart goes out to the people and their loved ones who is suffering from this kind of disorder. I've learned that treatment is not that easy due to unawareness of the disorder, unawareness of treatment options, and scarce and expensive treatment/therapy especially here in the phils. I have always contemplated on getting a degree in this field. But i guess it's kinda late now for a career change. Also it's an impossible dream taking into consideration the financial constraints. Well, i couldn't do anything more but just to hope that things will get better in this field in the future.

Writing

A writer writes not because he is educated but because he is driven by the need to communicate. Behind the need to communicate is the need to share. Behind the need to share is the need to be understood. The writer wants to be understood much more than he wants to be respected or praised or even loved. And that perhaps, is what makes him different from others.

Murphy's Law

Have you ever received a phone call the minute you stepped outside your door? Certain astute individuals have noticed that such events are not the exception but, rather, the rule. Men like Murphy, Peter and Parkinson have made it their life work to ferret out the operating principles -the laws that govern the frustrating lives that we mortals live. Here is a sample of Murphy's Laws and other different variations and formulations:
Anything that can go wrong will go wrong.
If there is a possibility of several things going wrong, the one that will cause the most damage will be the one to go wrong.
If there is a worse time for something to go wrong, it will happen then.
If anything simply cannot go wrong, it will anyway.
If you perceive that there are four possible ways in which a procedure can go wrong, and circumvent these, then a fifth way, unprepared for, will promptly develop.
Left to themselves, things tend to go from bad to worse.
If everything seems to be going well, you have obviously overlooked something.
You will always find something in the last place you look.
No matter how long or how hard you shop for an item, after you've bought it, it will be on sale somewhere cheaper.
The other line always moves faster.
In order to get a loan, you must first prove you don't need it.
Anything you try to fix will take longer and cost you more than you thought.
If you fool around with a thing for very long you will screw it up.
If it jams - force it. If it breaks, it needed replacing anyway.
Any time you put an item in a "safe place", it will never be seen again.
Anything dropped in the bathroom will fall in the toilet.
