The Cruise...

I've been busy working 7 days a week to finish some projects and it's time for another blog!

Earlier this year, my wife and I went on a company sponsored cruise to The Bahamas. I think it's also correct to say we went to Bahamas leaving 'the' out of the title.
Four nights, three days with the main stop in the capital city Nassau.

This was our 2nd cruise together and the boat this time was smaller than the first cruise. The first trip (2 years ago) took us to Cozumel, Mexico. Traveling East from Miami brought us into the waters of the Atlantic ocean, where it's choppy in the spring and storms are common. But, we managed to get to Nassau without any trouble. As we got off the ship and headed along the pier, we could feel winds 30mph with gusts no less than 40mph. People were losing their hats and anything that wasn't securely fastened. It was mostly sunny, but extremely windy.

There are all kinds of services and vendors offing (read: selling) things both before customs and on the island side. Annoying would be a polite description as some of the people (young men mostly) wouldn't take 'no' for an answer. They had authentic Cuban cigars, offered personalized taxi guides around the city, conch shells, trinkets, T-Shirts and duty free alcohol.

After the first day, we could see this cruise line wasn't the caliber as the other one. The food, service and entertainment was considerably less. They had a comedian who only did one show per night, so if you were at dinner, you missed him. But, that seemed to be a common thread throughout the trip. Not much in the way of quality entertainment.

The other cruise was truly international as they had help from many different countries and that was interesting, especially since the young women from China attached themselves to my wife and were interested in how she found life in America.
The Bahamas cruise had nearly all help from the Philippines. The benefit in that is they all speak fluent English.

Since the weather was windy, the captain called off our next stop as it was a private island without a pier for cruise ship docking. We would have to go ashore on tiny boats that seat less than 20 and it was deemed too risky in such rough seas. So we stayed another day in port at Nassau and not many wanted to be bothered with travel on the island. We ended up poolside and walking around the boat no less than 20 times!

I rarely experience motion sickness and had a miserable night getting only 3 hours sleep. I chewed on Ginger gum that is good for nausea relief and had room service bring a can of soda... that worked.

We couldn't wait to get back to Miami and had all our things packed and stood at the front of the line getting off the boat.

I've been really busy this week with no time to showcase scammers using photos of famous (or somewhat famous) people. But, I made the time for the beautiful iwanttobehappyy.

I doubt it's a woman behind that profile using stolen photos and know the profile is 100% fake. The photos are of 27 year old Cuban model Claudia Sampedro. I've seen her photos used on Asia Friend finder before. Claudia, who has been referred to as the Spanish version of Kim Kardashian. She and boyfriend NFL player Julius Peppers listed a mansion in Coral Gables (Miami-Dade county) for $6.45 million.

iwanttobehappyy you are the scammer of the week!

Your unread messages are stacking up, so don't bother to send any more.

As you can see by the screen shot, the majority of mail I get comes from bogus senders who soon get deactivated. I'm curious to see how many unopened messages I can collect.

New member newages decided to hotlist me today.
It appears that I'm a magnet for scammers.
While newages claims to be looking for 'someone real and serious' she's doing it with a photo of Nicaraguan fitness model Dolly Castro.
newages, here's a friendly tip... Dolly is a social media celebrity with more than 5,000,000 (that's five million) Instragram followers and 100,000 twitter fans.

Did it occur to you that someone would recognize Dolly's photo?

Hopefully you are fluent in Spanish as Dolly is.

singledarin2017 came on my radar when she hotlisted me... 34F from Belgium.
Small problem. the photo belongs to Natasha (Tash) Oakley, a 25 year old Australian born instagram celebrity and model who with her boyfriend design bikinis and live in Los Angeles, California. She is famous for her a bikini a day site.

That means singledarin2017 is a scammer.

singledarin2017 makes it to my Parade Of Daily Scammers.

I didn't know who Kelly Brook was until I see new member Shem800 with her stolen photos. Amazing, isn't it? scammers clip actress photos and use them like it's their own.

Shem800 claims to be a 32F from Los Angeles, California. when in fact, she is using stolen photos of 37 year old British actress Kelly Brook.

How do I know this? these photos appear on more than a dozen tabloid websites.

sweetroz why are you using Danielle's photos?

It's a known fact that scammers use photos of adult models as there are hundreds to clip from the internet.
Danielle is a popular model and a favorite for scam artists. Doing research on another dating site, I found 6 different profiles using her photos within the first few minutes of surfing. I'll call it scammer saturation. Unless your hobby is dating fraud investigation like mine, to dating sites, they are like fleas on a dog!

I mentioned in a previous blog, the page for reporting abuse doesn't work, so it's not really possible to report fraudulent activity and have them deactivated, so... I'll just showcase them in my blogs. Let's share the experience together!

sweetroz a 26F who claims to be from Texas, you are my scammer of the day.

I've always been fascinated to see what lengths scammers go through to defraud people.
Currently online is an attractive 36 year old woman from Portland, Oregon who goes by the profile name of Seasia11
One small detail... the photo she is using belongs to 30 year old Indonesian actress Bunga Zainal.

Yes, I'm serious, I found the same photo on Bunga's twitter account.
