I see n the news that former president Donald Trump had a birthday. It was noted by his Don Jr. in order to sign his official birthday card, you had to donate to his fund raising committee.
The fee was small, at least one dollar pledge.

Will Smith and Jada Pinkett appear at the Oscars ceremony and comedian Chris Rock jokingly comments about Jada's hair loss. Will walks up to the stage and slaps Chris and shouts obscenities.
A joke gone too far? Obviously, there is something deeper than a joke.
While it's been a few weeks since the incident, the repercussions aren't over.

Rice Pudding...

I've been wanting to make rice pudding for a while now.
This is a takeoff on my previous blog about the Venezuelan Chicha, a drink made with cooked rice, milk and ice cubes.
We had terrible weather today and I decided to stay home and try a twist on an old recipe.
I took 2 cups of cooked rice, a glass of whole milk, 3 eggs, 2 spoons of condensed milk, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, a few sprinkles of cinnamon, 1 squirt of honey.
With the whole thing in a blender, I had to stop a few times to mix it with a spoon as it was very thick... I could have added more milk but wanted it to come out thick.
30 minutes in an oven at 325 and the top started to darken. I allowed it to cool and tried a few spoonfuls.
The results were: Success!!
