I'm guessing that less than twenty percent of the members here know who Ted Nugent is. Going back the late 1960's he was the guitarist for the rock band Amboy Dukes. Later, he went solo and and performed millions.
I'm impressed with his guitar talent... I'm not impressed with this political orientation and he's a right-wing loudmouth who gets 'in your face' just hear his own voice.
Political activist musicians (on either side) rate low on my list. People see your shows as a musical talent, don't use your fame as a soapbox.
Anyway, Uncle Ted as he often refers himself has been a denier of the Corona virus and pandemic by saying it's all a hoax.
In the news, Ted got sic.. really sic Flu-like symptoms and thought he was dying.
.
Sorry, Ted, there must be a reason for medical professionals safety protocols.

Friday's Cat... the final chapter

A few weeks ago, I tried rescue a stray cat. My neighbors were feeding the cat and that's against condo rules. Borrowing a pet traveling cage I had only one adoption center that would take the cat in for processing.
The next day I received a call from a woman who introduced herself as one of the veterinarians on staff and explained the condition of the animal I dropped off.

Her statement was the cat was missing most of her teeth due infection and had lumps in her intestines with swollen lymph nodes.
The cat was in pain and beyond the point for saving...

You know the rest of the story... right?

my way downstairs Friday morning, I found a cat the landing. This was new as I don't recall any cats around this condo building. Acknowledging the cat was , I stopped and watched him as he looked at . I continued down the stairs and ( my surprise) the cat didn't run away.

I did some errands and the cat was in the place when I returned.
Okay, something's .
Why here?
Did someone abandoned their pet as he's not afraid of me

Flashback when I was twelve years old and we had a cat named Tiki with the markings... I get it, this must be a descendant of Tiki!

So, I poured a small bowl of milk and Tiki2 (notice: I have already named this cat that I have known for less than 2 hours) started drinking the milk. I headed off work and Tiki2 was at the bottom of the stairs when I returned after dark.

My wife suggested we feed the cat and I said if we do, he will never go away and 3 minutes later I had a small bowl of Spanish style ground beef warmed in the microwave oven. By then Tiki2 was in the bushes possibly looking for food. Two seconds later the beef was on Tiki2's dinner menu!

Wanting to be a part of the virtual adoption, my wife called down to me saying the cat needed some rice. "Cat's don't eat rice", said I, but she had a scoop of rice in her hand and added the partly consumed bowl of beef. The cat stopped eating and walked away. Insisting cats eat rice, I agreed... they do, but this isn't a Chinese Cat!

What's that you say... Waxing Gibbous?
Sure it's something about phases of the moon waxing.
The sky was perfectly clear tonight and in the East coast of North America the next full moon will be February 27 at 3:am and it's called the Snow Moon.

We are currently 98.4% there!
Waxing Gibbous of the Snow Moon.

not sure of the name of this meal but it's sweet rice wrapped around beans and pork in the middle. The entire loaf is covered in banana tree leaves that are wrapped in string.
