A lie is a lie...

I will say it again. A lie is a lie...
On another dating site, members have the ability to block messages from users who don't match their requirements for age, education, location, marital status, etc.

I understand and accept that.

However... a high percentage of profiles I have viewed (20-25 percent) the women say (usually in their introduction) they are much older (7-10 years) than what their profile lists.

A lie is a lie. Oh... did I mention this before?

Tell me you are looking for a man who is honest and has integrity, but you lured him to you based on a lie.

You are older and he probably wouldn't consider looking at your profile as it's out of his range for searching.

Okay... I said it and feel better for saying it!

It appears Chinese FriendFinder suffered a stroke in the wee hours of the morning.
Paramedics arrived on the scene and resuscitated the mainframe using oxygen, beeswax and two hits of Red Bull energy drink.
As far as I can tell things are back the way they were Friday night.
I see the counter of online members is about half of what it usually is.
While the website was down, I suspect about 1200 people actually did things outside the internet.

Those things are called life!

The man wants to be honest in his relationship but his wife put on a few pounds (kilos) over the years and they are getting ready to go out with friends and she is struggling to pull up a pair of jeans.

Looking as she turns her backside toward the mirror, she says to her husband "Honey, do these jeans make my ass look big?"

(gulp)

Without answering her, he focuses his attention to something that appears to be outside the window and says "Hurry up dear, Bill and Sarah just pulled up and we need to leave now."

Maybe you have noticed the Point Generating Activities part of the website isn't working.
Neither is the winks section. 7 winks for me in the last few weeks and I'm unable to see who winked as one woman is showing... who winked more than 30 days ago.

A terrible loss for the Mexicans...

I'm told that there wasn't any good mayonnaise in Mexico during the 1800's.

So... the Mexican government decided to buy 10,000 jars of mayonnaise from a company in England and had it sent to them by boat. Unfortunately, the boat went off-course, striking a reef in the Caribbean and the boat went down loosing all it's cargo.

Because of this catastrophe, the Mexican government has marked on their calendars a day of remembrance...

Sinko-de-mayo

If you don't believe me... look it up!

Like me, most of the users here are standard members. I have found the best way to start a conversation with someone is to meet them in a chatroom. It makes sense... doesn't it?
I frequent the English speaking chatroom, but if you have trouble with English, we could move to another room. The Chinese FriendFinder chatroom... meet you there!

Walking out of the loo with toilet paper stuck in your shoe...

Thankfully, that hasn't happened to me. I've seen it in the movies where someone goes to use the restroom and somehow the toilet paper gets stuck to them and the roll. As they are leaving the room and the paper comes off the roll leaving a long line back to the toilet!

"THE CHICK CHANNEL" and TV in the bedroom...

This is a public service warning to all women who watch "The Chick Channel" in bed just before going to sleep. DON'T DO IT. Seriously... DON'T DO IT.

Take my advice. You have enough drama in life. You don't need any subliminal messaging coming from those TV shows, especially if the TV is on and you are sleeping.

Doesn't anyone on the chick channel have a normal happy life in these stories? C'mon, it seems like EVERYONE is having an extramarital affair, was , tortured, molested. Some of the men were accidentally released from an aslym and heading to their ex-wife's house for revenge. This is too much drama before going to sleep... really it is.

...and that music, I'm sure only women (and bats) can hear it. I'm sure there's something high pitched, something so high pitched, your dogs can't hear it... but you can. That music just sucks you women into watching these shows, It's like fingernails on a chalkboard to me. You're so mesmerized... YA SIT THERE AND WATCH THE SAME COMMERCIALS 8 TIMES AN HOUR !!

Go ahead, defend yourselves... tell me you like "The Chick Channel" Tell me "They're based on true facts" Yeah, maybe they are... do you like making your skin crawl before sleep? It's not good.

Please take my advice... No Chick Channel before bedtime.

Would you lie about your age to catch a younger mate?

I dated a woman who looked and acted much younger than her real age. Her problem with dating men her age or older was they couldn't keep up with her physically and sexually.
Because of this, she is listing an age about 10 years younger so she can attract men who are younger than her. It's easy for her to catch men... but hard to keep them.

A guy I worked with also lied about his age. He shaves his head now, but he uses one old photo on his profile at least 7 years ago when he wore a toupee and was 50 pounds lighter.

I've met many of his first dates as he would invite them to the office (to impress them with his career) and take them to lunch. Not too often did he get a 2nd date with any of these women. It seems the ones willing to go out again were using him for his $ or they had a long list of personal problems.

From the experiences I've been reading about and seeing, liars don't get very far when the person they are trying to meet realizes they are a fake... yet they continue doing it as though they will find someone who will accept the fact they they are lying...

There are some aspects to internet dating I will never understand.

Too Much Information...

I was approached by a woman who liked my profile and wanted to see my photos. I complied and sent her to a link to a page where I have photos and some personal information.
On her next round of questions, she asked about my career and to my surprise wanted to see photos of my house and know my street address so she could see it on Google Maps.
Also, she was kind enough to ask what kind of woman I'm looking for.

The way I see it, her style of interrogation became annoying and (at this point) I had no desire to know anything about her.

A similar situation happened to me on one other occasion. I was invited to I/M with a Chinese woman who had professional photo studio photos on her profile. Her use of English on her introduction was perfectly written.
Our chat only lasted a few minutes and I could see where the conversation was going. Right after the 'hello' she started asking about my education, career, pension, home and financial assets... when she got to monthly salary, I intentionally told her about 25% of what I actually made. The response was 'I couldn't afford her in the lifestyle she desired' and she logged off I/M.

There was no question in my mind I wasn't talking to the actual woman on the profile, but that I was talking to her professional matchmaker. It's all business to them.

Thanks for reading my blog.
