I don’t collect stamps but usually keep them for my friends or colleagues who are keen on stamp collecting. As a secretary, one of my main task is to open the letters sent to my company. The first thing I noticed on the envelopes would be the stamps. I like to see the various designs on the stamps. Most of them are pretty and meaningful. What I have here are stamps from my own country, Malaysia and from my neighboring country, Singapore. I’ve also seen some stamps from other countries. Some are artistic, some are cute, some are so meaningful and each one represent an icon for its country.

What does the year 2010 meant to me?

I’m glad that the year 2010 is over.

Looking back, there were lots of anxiety and upsetting news and tears of happiness and sadness were shed during the year 2010. Instant major decisions has to be made and problems has to be solved. New skills has to be learnt and implemented immediately. The year 2010 has been bitter and sweet; I have also learnt to be a more resilient, optimistic and positive person.

I hope that 2011 will be a smooth sailing year for me.

I have told a friend the other day that I don’t do resolutions. I never do because I don’t adhered to them. I have decided to break the rule this year and make some last minute resolutions for next year.

1. To plan in more exercise regimes ;
(which I have neglected doing this year)

2. To adhere to a more healthy lifestyle ;
(which I have just started recently and sticking to it)

3. To save more money for the rainy days
(which I have not done as family commitment comes first)

4. To be more courteous on the road
(sometimes if you’re too courteous on Malaysia’s roads, you will be bullied but it’s still back to No.4)

I like this quote from Christian D. Larson (The Secret) :-

“I promise myself to look at the sunny side of everything and make my optimism come true”

Happy New Year…

Five Things which Men Like about Women Drivers

1. They usually asked for directions when they are lost.
2. They give way to other drivers.
3. They will pack food and drinks for long journey.
4. They will always keep a conversation going so you won’t feel sleepy.
5. They are more tolerant so less chance of being a road bully.

These are the comments I heard from the Radio DJ of 95FM(Singapore) while on my way to work this morning. I find them quite interesting and come to think of it, some are quite true….

Do you agree or maybe you want to add in some of your own good comments about women drivers?
