I have to say that fall is my favorite time of the year. It is the color of the trees during their transition. The The cool brisk air. The migrating flights. The buzz of the people. The antcipation for upcoming festivity. That nice cup of java, or hot chocolate to start the day. There is just someting about it. Fall, its a good time. To bad that it never stays.

How ofter are there times when we jump into things that we do not fully understand, only to end up regretting our decisions at a later date?

I know for me, it is a constant learning process. The older I get the more attuned I am at gathering all of the right information in order to make a sound, concise decision. In the long run, this saves us much time.

For the bad decisions we always end backtracking and spending time fixing, or covering up, the mistakes that we made. Efficiency is lost, and not to mention, some of the loss could be irrepairable, and thus, we spend more time lamenting, or struggling with the loss--that whole, shoulda-coulda-woulda rant comes to mind.

For some, it takes more time than others to make decisions. I, personally, do not see any problems with this. I feel very sound in the fact that people take the tme to 'think through' that which is unknown, so that we do not end up regretting our decisions in the long run.

I think, therefore, I am.

I got a kick out of this today... met this guy, and sparked up a conversation. We ended up on the topic of cars. Not sure how, but I guess he was the one that initiated it.

The animation that this guy brought to the conversation was hilarious. To be honest with you, we could have been talking about basket-weaving for all I care.

It was the mannerisms, the hand gestures, the bobbing and weaving... he was full of it. There for a moment, I was beginning to feel threatened. I thought I was gonna get a black eye or something. I am sorry, it was comical. Nice guy. It made my day.

I get amazed at how enthusiastic people are when they are doing, or talking about, something that they are passionate about. The passion they have brings out the best in them. Regardless, of what the interest is it should be 'do what you like'. If you like it, you are going to be that much better at it.

Just had a good conversation with my brother. One of the things that bothers me, sometimes, about his is long winded recitals is that you can't seem to get a word in edge-wise. He seems to have it all figured out. I think I finally made my point, but we'll see.

When we get into a topic, he tries to explain "everything" right down to the last detail. I always tell him you don't let people think for theirselves. We get the gist. We got it from about the first two sentences of you opening your mouth. Its that detailed.

Don't get me wrong. I love'm. He's my bro. I guess that is why I can sit here and say this.

People, sometimes it is good to sit and listen. You may never know what you gain from it. If your spout is always pouring, and never getting refilled, sooner or later ur gonna run out. Or, your friends will. We should always be more cautious in two-way traffic.

Hooray for the hoopla!
