The tough thing about following you heart is that people forget to mention that sometimes the heart takes you to places you shouldn't be. Places that are scary as they are exciting and as dangerous as they are alluring. Sometimes your heart cannot take you to places that lead to happy ending. That's not even the difficult part; the difficult part is when you follow your heart, you leave normal; you go into the unknown and once you do you can never go back.

Somebody asked Mark Twain once, "What do you think are the three best things in life?"
Humorously, sarcastically, he said, "The first best thing is never to be born. The second best thing is to die immediately after birth. And the third best thing is to die as soon as possible."
Hmmm... I don't agree... Personally... I may not have the best in this life, but for me, life is still good and it's still worth the ride...

It was a philosophy I used to embrace a long time ago put this way: Don't get too excited about anything, and don't get too upset about anything. Things change so quickly that you almost waste energy getting all worked up. I try to remember this still, but sometimes it ain't easy...

Pre-birthday blues... Damn... I don't know why I'm feeling this way. Maybe I'm just tired? This might be one of those zombie days when you're temporarily losing the drive and the reason, and the answers are nowhere to be found... But maybe I'm just really tired... And feeling old... And getting older... Arrgghhhh... Silly silly silly... I know life is a beautiful thing, but tonight I just want to sit in the corner and sulk...
