Another drive to Houston - well its a long drive for an appointment, but without a doubt it is a necessity. Just as I prepared to leave, I find the cable guy left the gate open and the dogs took off, so I spent time driving around looking for them before I left for this trip.
On may way, after driving for over 200 miles, the phone
rang, a guy had found the dogs, but they would not get in his truck. hopefully they find their way back home, as I'm here in Houston.
My mother did go to my house and check to see it they came back, but they had not. I will probably get a call today when someone finds them. since are out of school and people are off work, someone may find them, as they are fairly friendly.
Interesting things seem to happen at the most interesting times.
At the moment I have to take care of what I came here to do, so I give it to the graces of Gods graces. God knows how to have many animals travel long spans and know how to get back to where they came from. I'm sure this is true too with dogs.
On a funny note, I was telling my mother, that 'Country Dogs seem to be more aware of how to travel around far different than city dogs. Country dogs seem to always know their way back home, and they usually do it before sundown.
I'm here trying to get some treatments arranged, so I don't think stressing about anything is suitable, so I will deal with it when it get back home.
I'm using my laptop, which I don't really like typing on it, I very rarely use it, as I prefer the desktop units with the separate keyboard. This one normally sits un-used unless I go some place, so you can imagine its rather older.
It quite interesting the way people drive. Some are as if they are joy riding, some act as if they are unaware others are on the road. I do however teach 'defensive driving classes on a monthly basis, it still amazes me to the things people do while driving. I do a good bit of research on driving and reading regulations about highway driving and such. Still its amazing with the volume of traffice how people forget these vehicles are not toys, they are very serious units which must be utilized with care and consideration, regardless how pretty ones car may be.

Weather..... who knows what's next.

It went from being crazy cold, to sunny and windy cold, to warm and windy, and now it has moved on to rain, to HEAVY rain, thunderstorms, hail and more rain.
I guess the next phase will skip right on over to blistering hot.
Maybe this extended winter will go down as a record for being a winter that seems it does not want to go away. The same as the past two summers, one in which we had over 95ยบ for far more than 60 straight days.
We probably can look to having more areas suffering droughts, and other areas suffering various other conditions. All of which impact the food supply.
I think I now get better understanding why there is so much obesity in this region. the sad part is people have become comfortable with it.
I don't like the weather here. I though I did at one point when I first bought my bikes, but that lasted for about 2.5 months, and again in the spring the following year for about a month... since then, it has been crazy.
Out of 7 yrs of owning the bikes, the one I kept only has 4029 miles on it. It sits in the garage, periodically requiring the battery to be re-charged.
I looked at the tires and they still have those little spike like things which come on all new tires, I've not even ridden it enough to wear those things off.
Since the surgery, it was cold before, it has been bad weather since, and I had planned to be robust about exercise, to try and regain some of the things which the surgery took away. but that is a challenge in this crazy weather. The doctors say, yes, you will regain these abilities, but it may take a lot of time, heck, I can't even speed up the process with walking and exercise in the outdoors, because the weather is so crazy.

I don't have much of a problem by scammers in this site, I guess they know I could care less about their ploys.
someone got into my email contacts( from personal email), and have been sending spam. I've changed the password, multiple times, and followed the steps of clearing the cookies, the cache and these idiots continue.
I traced the IP to Italy, it even showed a map of the home location of the IP.
I reported it.
I wish there was a way they could ban these people from the internet permanently.
I don't like hackers and spammers, these people are like the low life's of the internet., One day things may escalate to find a way to lock them up or do something which makes it a heavy fully imposed fine, jail time, or something which will send a clear message that no one and no system will tolerate spam and hackers.
I think one day they will find a way to also prosecute more of these people who use the dating site to scam people. As crimes against the passions of others, punishable by a very still non revocable penalty of both money and jail time.
I don't visit chat rooms because years ago, it appeared that people did not seem to talk about much, other than slap stick jokes and such. Maybe they have changed, I don't know, because I never before found one that seem to have any substance I was interested in.
I stick with blogging, because I can write what I want, and respond to what others write.
As to SPAM and Hackers, they have to be the lowest of human being, to get a high from being a shyster, con artist and all the things which makes them nothing more than a common thief.

3rd Day of Spring

It's been "grey clouds all day"... !!!!!!!!!!!
Not that I have anything planned, but it sure would be nice to see a comfortably warm and sunny day.
I guess it would be a good thing also to have a woman, which could add a big plus to the day, whether it's grey or sunny. But... It is important to have a "happy spirited woman"... !!!!
Seems even grey or sunny, Being a Saturday's it seem to cost me money, I go to the cleaners, I go to the barber - these cost seem not to go away.
After a costly week, with car repairs, house repairs and just stuff, then the computer repairman, tells me that my computer is not repairable. I don't get it, I picked up a virus from a web site that gave me a blue screen. That has nothing to do with my hardware. Yet the repairman tells me that the board and etc is no good. I told him, just put it back together and I will pick it up. I don't agree with his assessment, yet there is no need to go into disputing anything, I will just pick up the unit and find other means to repair it.
At some point I guess the world will acknowledge there is some "climate change going on". I'm not sure what this spring will bring, but I certainly don't want to see any Tornado's and none of that kind of stuff, and I'm not looking forward to a blistering hot summer either.
Although, I'll take the blistering hot summer, over tornado's anytime.
I would like to have some multi colored flowers in my yard, so I will see how the spring shapes up for me to add some. The new lawn man did a very good job trimming the hedges, and he removed the monstrosity of the Oleander bush/tree from the back yard, which had expanded beyond all reasonable measure. Now, I simply have to put stump killer on the stump so it does not grow back.
I also want to instal some speakers in the Garage and repair one of the computers sitting there, so I can have internet music in the garage.
I also visited the store this morning and noticed the price of flat panel TV has gone down drastically. That means another option to consider.
It's just the Third day of spring, so I don't want my ideas to become so costly as to become another challenge to deal with.
Then, there is the matter of relationship building interest, which is on the agenda as a priority concern in this year as well. That one is a bit more intricate than other stuff... I guess I'll have to explain that at another time.

Ok... since everyone seems to have fallen into silence.
I'll pose a question. (maybe it will anguish, shock, interest or piss someone off enough to get them to talk about something)
When was the last time you had one of those good time bed bouts where you end up with a giant smile plastered on your face that won't seem to go away, where you get the giggles which won't seem to stop?
( I'm pretty sure this won't garner any responses, but what the heck)

I am not sure if many people even know what they want in loving, I think a great many are highly fixated on the external, ( not that its not important), but if we listen to much of the media and then listen to the sayings: "He's hot", "She's hot", it so much about body shape, face appearance and whether a person is introverted or extroverted.
They meet, maybe they 'bed each other down", and then the air goes out of the bubble, then they are back at square one. Looking for another face, looking for another protruding posterior and looking for someone who has a level of flamboyancy in personality antics.

Then comes looking at the titles, the labels, and the bank account or material possession holding.
It's really a trip, because in the big picture many people do lie to themselves, and many do have some concepts they equate with perfection, even when ignoring their own imperfections. If the media tells them they are not happy unless they have this or that, or unless they are doing this or that, people will toss away any potential relationship and go into a tailspin, looking for what has become media popular to pursue.

Do you think "Spring" will ever come

This has been the longest winter. It seems like it just does not want to go away... Now, I wonder if we will have a summer filled with EXTREME heat?
I'll tell you in my view, these EXTREMES is not something I am very thrilled about.
I'd like to live in a place with good weather on a year round basis.
I don't think this up and down, extremes is good for health or much of anything else on a over-all of living conditions.
But, I have seen pictures of places in Russia, where the cold is simply insane, I don't know how people live in these kind of places. Seems they'd have lots of babies, but maybe the women are frozen and the sperm is equally so frozen, to the point they are slow to reproduce.

I'm determined to have a better year in 2014 than I had in 2013.
It appears that it will take lots of work in lots of areas..Including making some steps toward relationship development.

Geez !!!! trying to get my other house in shape. It has been a nightmare since I had it. Each Person who lived there resulted to cost me, in a number of ways.
It has been sitting empty for one year. after getting most of the stuff done, in the past week, don't know what happen to the keys to the front doors, so had to change those locks.
Then the water was turned on... WOW... the water in the bathtub would not stop running, under the sink was leaking, then the faucets in the kitchen would not shut off, the faucets in the laundry room were in the on position and would not close. Then the drain pipe under the bathroom sink just broke off.
When we attempted to change the valves in to the water for the tub, it was crazy, the pipes are deep behind the wall, and some long cylinder unit had to be replaced, the problem is the people who built the house seem to have put some kind of cement around the cylinder, it had to be chipped away.
This does not count, that I put some vinyl tile on the floor, ( removed the carpet), Previous I had a guy to stain the wood floors but he did a poor job and these were the original wood squares, so we put the tile down over it. ( non expensive tile !!!).
Painted the rooms, painted the kitchen cabinets, now at this point i hope no other issues come up.
It would have been nice to have put good wood or ceramic tile on the floors ( if my mother had wanted to live in it), but she likes where she lives.
People can be hell on property, especially when they don't own it.
I simply don't get why people screw up other peoples property.

What happen to the interactivity of people in the web, it has taken another nose dive. It's as if it comes in spikes and valley's.
Sometime people become engaging and then sometimes they don't. I do notice there are regular poster, but there are many blogs that people simply don't engage to explore subject content.
I don't think the site has the number of members it claims, because it is unlikely that the high numbers they claim would produce the low level of blog posters and commentator's.
What do you think happens ?
